Podcasting can be used to engage students in the classroom through engaging activities such as recording their reading of a book, becoming sports announcers, meteorologist & reporters. The students will see the relevance in creating sentences and paragraphs that flow, are interesting and entertaining to an audience. Anytime students can record their voice and "perform" they get excited and when they are excited they always want to learn more. RER
I think that pod casting can provide another creative avenue for our students. Especially for those students that may have difficulty in writing their thoughts down, now that student can create a pod cast to express themselves. KJM
Podcasting is a great tool for teachers to use across the curriculum. It is a great resource for all. I plan on sharing this with my team and students.
